At any point between Massilon and Bucyrus, U.S. 30 passes within 50 miles of Lake Erie. U.S. 30 is a ****-poor line of demarcation between the North and the South, and so is U.S. 40, for that matter. When you are along or north of U.S. 50, you are in the North, period.

And if we are going to be crazy then North Carolina may as well be a Northern State with the North/South Carolina boarder being the Mason/Dixon line which compliments Carowinds amusement park and the South of the Boarder Junction on I-95.
