None of the above.. Im from Southern California it has a mild climate and some nice nature areas/parks and beaches. LA has all the amenities of a big metropolitan area and most of the problems that come with it. Its really expensive and overcrowded. If your a multimillionaire or you have a decent sizable salary/income you can live comfortably in California.
Its probably the same issue for Florida on the expensive housing thing since every one or every other person is moving to Florida to escape the cold weather from the northern states and its probably really crowded. I have never been there but I have heard the weather is dreadfully hot and humid and there are a lot of bugs.
