Put me in a room with all British people, every single one of them will look different and they all have different facial features, hair color, etc....
I'm no good at these things, i thought i saw a British customer at work, than she started speaking French, i asked her if she was from France and she giggled and said no i'm from Canada. whatever mistakes happen.

However the range of looks still belongs to the british Isles variation.
Denying the existance of regional phenotypes is absurd, you wont find easily a brit like khan or a german like bear grylls, but people like bavarians and austrians who are obviously pretty close on every sense can look often very similar, which is expected.
Who cares? I visited the UK recently and many brits had different eye color, hair color/etc.
Not to mention that many white americans are probably mixed quite a bit. I have both german and english ancestry. and even a little bit of dutch/and distant french.

And "white" Americans can basically include a huge variety of European ethnicities(or according to the census bureau, also Arabs and Persians other people from North Africa or the Middle East). I'm half-Polish and I meet people all the time who have Polish ancestry. Same with Italians or the Irish or Eastern European ethnicities. Or I'll meet "white" Americans who turn out to be half-Lebanese. People aren't going to look English or German(and obviously not all English or Germans look alike either) because there's a huge mix of different ethnicities since the late 1800s and once those ethnicities became considered "white" they were mixing with a lot of other groups.
The English and Germans made up a lot of white American in numbers at various parts of history, but at this point the classic WASP stereotype is close to being minority even among white Americans...

Oh PLEASE! Arnold Schwarzeneggar is not typical looking of any ethnicity on this earth. He has very unique features. This is what allowed him to access hollywood films so easily.
Oh, and by the way. You always like to reference Ben Affleck as what the typical American looks like. Ben Affleck's mother is Christine Boldt. For your uneducated mind, I will inform you that "Boldt" is a surname of German and Danish origin. Ben Affleck may have recieved his darker hair hair and eye colors from that side of the family for all you know. He is a fantastic example of the ethnic mixing in America. He has stated that he is of English, Scottish (Affleck is a Scottish surname), German, Swedish, and French ancestry.
Generally Southern Whites look more British while Midwestern Whites look more German. I know the typically Kentuckian looks totally different than the typically Ohian. Seems like people of Anglo / Celtic ancestry have rounder faces while Germans tend to have square faces and sharper features. I live in Louisville where Whites are about 50/50 on German immigrant roots and mixed Western European with mostly British Isles ancestry so it's something I see everyday.
Yup. My mom's family is from Louisville. All the lines are English and German (and Austrian, to be more specific).
From the perspective a Black man, I can see the difference between Southern Europeans and Northern Europeans(Anglos, Celts). But I can't see that much of the difference between Americans of Anglo or Celt or Germanic, descent, and their European counter-parts. I can see a slight difference between Slavs and others. But I've seen Slavs who look Nordic. I've also seen Nordic-looking Southern Europeans. All of these groups have Whites with Nordic features, even if they're only the minority. But then again, just because one has Blonde Hair, and Blue Eyes, doesn't mean they're Nordic.
I feel like Southern Europeans are the most distinct from the others. Which might be the reason many Italians weren't considered "White White" when they 1st immigrated to the US, and were thus discriminated against. But today, White is White in many people's eyes. White Supremacist Organizations will accept anyone of FULL European descent.
