Somebody said Davis CA, which is a town very much dominated by the snooty / angsty students and the college they attend.
Skidmore is a small private college to the point that you could forget that it is even there. Saratoga Springs HS isn't much smaller in terms of enrollment.

Georgia State (around 55k students)
Emory (around 16k students)
There are many historically black colleges as well like Morehouse.

It doesn't feel like a college town in the city though even though there are many colleges there.

Bozeman, Montana is seen as a college town because of Montana State University but its also known as a major tourist area close to Yellowstone and with lots of skiing and hiking in the area so its grown beyond the college town scene.

The Auburn, Alabama area also has a lot of manufacturing businesses in addition to the university with many automaking plants.
