Currently the best NBA announcers are:
Antonio Daniels and Joel Meyers for my New Orleans Pelicans
The guys for the Knicks are great too.
And Charlotte is decent too but a bit much for me.

Can't forget Bob Uecker. Mr. Baseball still going. One of the last of the old guard and still funny as all hell.

As a Yankee fan I had to give a shout out to Boston’s Remy and Don Orsillo (the latter now with Padres).

For football (and if we are talking national), before Summerall there was Ray Scott.

As much as I hate to say anything good (or even fair) about anything in New York or the Yankees, Michael Kay is damn good.

I don't know if you intentionally did it, but Harry Kalas was not an announcer for the Eagles. He was the Phillies announcer for baseball. He was, however, one of the voices of NFL Films. NFL films is HQ'd in South Jersey so many local voices including Ed and Steve Sabol, Harry Kalas, and John Facenda became the defacto voice of NFL clips.

Merrill Reese, the actual voice of the Eagles, does deserve a shout out though. He has been the announcer for the Eagles since 1977. That makes him the longest tendured play-by-play guy in the NFL currently. He's still great.

Historically speaking for Baseball, which for me meant Yankee games on WPIX, Phil Rizzuto and Bill White; for Mets games on WOR, Ralph Kiner and for Red Sox games on WSBK, Ned Martin and a young Sean McDonough.

For Hockey, WSBK used to carry Bruins games with Fred Cusack and Derek Sanderson; for Rangers games, Sam Rosen

For Basketball, Dick Stockton comes to mind when the NBA was on CBS.

For Football, Van Miller who did Bills games for years.

In terms of HBCU sports, back when BET carried games, Charlie Neal

Jim Donovan with the Cleveland Browns. I don’t know how he does it, but he makes listening to a game on the radio more fun than it should be. It can be 3-6 in the middle of the 3rd quarter and he'll still bring an insane amount of energy and enthusiasm
