The Sun Belt absolutely experiences white flight. Look at Atlanta for example. Every decade the huge black swathe of South Atlanta laps a bit further into white-flight territory (only a few white cities like Peachtree City exist south of Atlanta any longer) and Cobb and Gwinnett are both transforming into diverse Latino/Asian/black immigrant areas. White people are retrenching into the northern suburbs/exurbs only (save for the white liberal urban enclaves).
Both Atlanta and Georgia are seeing increases in their white population.
Diversifying doesn't mean you're experiencing white flight.
Certain parts of the metro may be but like I said- Sun Belt generally doesn't experience white flight. Maybe out West but not in the Southeast. Generally.
We dont have to say its experiencing white flight when we have plenty of examples of states that actually are.
Virginia is very different than Maryland I. That it’s whit e population is probably increasing like North Carolina. Maryland and points north u Tim New Hampshire the white population is declining.
Hispanic are the faster growing group everywhere really but Maryland gaining black folks from other states so that’s what differentiates it from CT. Immigration overall in MD is a little less than MA and a lot less than NY or NJ and about on par with CT or RI, but above PA. MD NJ act are just losing a ton of white people in general. Virginia is diversified ting skier overall because white people are moving there (just in less # than everyone else). VA seem more palatable to the “average” white person meaning not Uber progressive, educated or l wealthy. VA has ALOT of that’s but probably a smaller share than MD NJ MA.. it’s pulli be from a much larger pool for white Americans than northeastern states.
It depends on which part of VA you're talking about...
NOVA overall is losing white population. Loudoun County did gain White population from 2010-2020 but the rate is well behind Asian. Fairfax? White "replaced" by Asian. PWC? We're seeing white flight pattern as Hispanic population there continue to increase. Same can be said for Stafford and Spotsylvania County. Even Fauquier County isn't exactly gaining that much white population (Population increase are again largely from Hispanics).
Down in RVA, Henrico Co lost White population (mainly replaced by African-American) with population gain mainly from Asian. Chesterfield Co? Also didn't really gain many white population. City of Richmond proper, however, did see a White population increase at the expense of African-American population due to gentrification.
Now...2020 census itself is a mess, so the data may not be 100% accurate (Especially when it comes to Hispanic / "Mixed Race" population since IIRC they changed the methodology). VA overall I would put in the "diversifying" category.

I don't think anywhere in Nova, except for a few areas in PWC and West Alexandria have experience white flight. It will diversify just like many suburban areas have but I don't see it experiencing major white flight.

What on earth happened with Las Vegas? It's been experiencing a huge population boom especially those from Southern California flooding in, and yet the White population declined. Interesting

A lot of black and Hispanic people from Southern California have moved to Las Vegas.
