You're welcome and thanks for coming back by! Often we are left to wonder whether the original poster ever saw any of the replies or found them useful.

Default If Anyone's Still Looking for Brown's Guide

My deceased husband was a managing editor of that magazine. I've got lots of issues.

Default Brown's Guide to Ga

That magazine, to which I subscribed for years, was one of the best magazines about our state I had ever seen. I hated when it went out of business.

I am currently out of work and suffering from an immune disorder so I could not purchase any of these books/magazines but if you should like someone to have them who will enjoy them and take care of them, you have found the person. Please respond to me at fogamn@aol.com

to mtnma: I was featured in the November 1976 magazine under Good Cooks and Good Cooking., Holiday breads for the baking. If you happen to come up on that one, would you be willing to sell it to me. I, too miss the original magazine.

Panin: If you have the November 1976 magazine, would you be willing to sell it to me? My children and grandchildren would love a copy too. The photographs are priceless to me, with 2 of my grown sons as children. It's under Good Cooks and Good Cooking.

Do you still have any copies of Nov/Dec 1979? I'm featured in that under Good Cooks and Good Cooking. I'm 82 years old now and my Granddaughters want a copy!

What a great magazine! Their restaurant guide and reviews were unmatched. I had just renewed my subscription when they shut down!
