I'm old school, nothing takes the place of a good "cut" Cigar and a bourbon, we always look for a quiet place out of the way to enjoy our cigars, not so much because of second hand smoke concerns, more like not being bothered by anyone. And them E-cigarettes are FU FU, if you don't enjoy smoking anymore then quit, but don't replace something you enjoy with something else doesn't quite cut it, it's a waste of good time. And don't give me that crap that you're trying to quit, because it only means your weak.
The defiant in-your-face attitude that a few users of these things exibit is not going over well, according to a few reports that have surfaced. There have been a few brawls reported. The reaction of those that object often goes something like this, "I don't care if it is legal or not, get that ^*)@* thing out of my face." Do suggest discretion and good manners for those that vape.
Since I can' t smell it and its not harmful, it doesn't bother me. Some people love to take away people's personal freedoms even if it doesn't infringe on theirs.

Some of the responses in here lead me to believe we've been conditioned to react viscerally to anything that resembles smoking whether it impacts anyone around the person doing it or not. I mean, seriously... getting into fights over vaping in public? Some folks need to get a grip.
I don't like it. I would not want to be in a restaurant and see someone blowing vapors out of their mouth.
I think it is gross, and reminds me too much of cigarettes which i hate with a passion.
I think cigarettes were the worst invention ever made to man.
If you do in fact support these bans, I'd say you should think of a better argument... because, I'm sorry, but you personally finding something "gross" isn't a very good reason. If we used that as a measure for lawmaking, just about everything would be illegal! Heck, I think fish is the nastiest smelling food on the planet - should we ban that too?

Exactly! Maybe some people should just stay home and never go out in public..then they won't have to SEE people with these harmless e-cigs.
I feel badly for folks who smoke e-cigs, yet I am happy to see them so liberated.
Like many here, I feel sad that the smokers are relegated to the outdoors at my office, although I find myself envious that they get a "break" from the desk several times a day. I know their health insurance costs more than mine because the premium costs are published by my employer, but I don't know whether their salary is diminished because of the time away from their desks.
Smokers of e-cigs, though, appear to almost flaunt their ability to vape in the open. It's as if the clock has turned back 30 or 40 years and there's no stigma attached to having one hand occupied by a burning stick. They are free again.
"Flaunt?" Do people also "flaunt" their caffeine addictions by openly drinking coffee and soda in the office?
On second thought, if I were an e-cig user and I knew people would seethe just at the mere sight of me doing something that has no impact on them whatsoever, I'd probably "flaunt" it too.
