Yes it does. I was responding to your quip about "putt(ing) 5 year olds to work in other countries".

The greed is the America's "trademark" and its wild capitalism, that puts profits as the most important thing of the world, leaving behind ethics, morality, family, friendship, etc...
Yeah, Americans are definitely the only greedy people of the world.
The drug dealers of South America, the corrupt politicians.. you want to talk about problems in the country? Just look at South America. Brasil is a beautiful country, but there's a reason my family immigrated here
I love how so many South Americans preach how they have such high ethics and yet their countries have the worst murder rates in the world and come here illegally just to escape their life, the crime rates of your good cities compare to the cities of USA like Detroit, Washington DC .. the most dangerous of the US.
You want to talk greed? Look at your country opressing the citizens living without water, electricity and necesities.

.
Reduce the per-capita income in Detroit or Washington to $3,500, and see what happens to the crime rate. Put a sprawling barrio of two million people living in cardboard boxes on the edge of an American city and see what happens to the crime rate. Poverty generates crime. What's America's excuse?

Well said. Good description, only left out one thing - owning guns.

This doesn't negate the fact that the South American countries face more crime, more corruption and just as much greed as USA... what are you even trying to prove? Stick up for your country come on..
Why don't you face up to what our problems are, instead of putting your head in the sand.
That way, we can move past them. Instead of making jacked up comparisons and using them as excuses.
Just look at the typical post of Brazilian .. he just preaches against the US. I'll gladly use comparisons against a person like that.
Business owners will work in their interests in any part of the world. If anything Americans give more money in donations than any other country. You want to call Americans greedy? How about we compare the amount of donations our rich give compared to any other place.
Bill Gates probably donates more in one check than you will earn in your lifetime.
How about we talk about money donated to another country:
Money is sent to another country providing that they pay all of our equipment, or medical stuff so that the money comes right back to the US.
Try again.
