I am supoose to come to winston salem since my husband got job over their, i am bit worried about the cost of living, security, people, weather etc since i need to carry my 9month old baby.
Can someone Compare Winston Salem to Greensboro to me please. Which one is bigger, and what one do you like better. Which one has better shopping, more people. Which one is more city city ? How do they compare to Charlotte, are thy like smaller Charlotts, or different cities altogether.
Thanks for your time
Between greensboro and winston-salem, which is better as far as:
1)cost/quality of living
2)things to do
3)transportation (traffic/commutability)
My husband and I are both 20 w/ no kids, and are looking to move from Alabama...we're trying to figure out now where we want to move. Thanks for all info!

I would suggest Greensboro as far as saftey, the downtown area having neat activities to do, it has great parks and nice movie theaters and new shopping locations. If you look at Greensboro, you should look at the Friendly/Guilford/NW Guilford area.

So, you're saying that Greensboro is a safer place than Winston-Salem? My research seems to overwhelmingly suggest the opposite.
