Would this be at Interstate 185 or across from Pete's?
Just southeast of I-185. Basically in the area between Murrell, Grove, and White Horse Roads. The buildings currently on site will be removed and Old Murrell Road will be abandoned.
That area needs something. I hope QuikTrip will be the first of several new investments in that area.
Agreed. One thing I really like about QT coming to this area is that it seems like a lot of their gas stations are getting built on sites that were ugly and vacant before. The two on Wade Hampton Blvd and the one on Poinsett Highway are good examples of this.
I stopped at the one in Greer a couple of days ago and I noticed they had a specific pump for ethanol free gas.
Not sure of what you saw, but I asked one of the employess at the Greer QT if they had an ethanol free pump and he said that no QT has ethanol free gas. Bummer!

The site on Poinsett was not ugly at all. In fact, there is the beautiful back drop of Paris Mountain from that site. To put a gas station there is terrible. Having said that, I guess if I owned property that was vacant for years, a gas station would be a beautiful thing.
Not sure if the one at exit 21 in Anderson has opened yet or not, but it seems like it would have by now. The one on North Main should be ready within a month and the one on Pearman Dairy Road shortly after that.
There also seems to be plans to build one on an abandoned gas station in Pendleton. They could really use since I don't think the other station is 24 hours. It'd also be nice to see one down Abbeville Hwy going south as you have probably a 30-40 mile gap between Anderson and Abbeville with no 24 hour stations yet the road remains moderately occupied overnight.

I'm talking about the Rutherford Street site right near Tommy's Ham House and across from McDonald's. Don't know why I said Poinsett Highway. This site was nothing but an ugly vacant building and torn up parking lot before QT.
