Nope. Still just an old abandoned Hardee's. Construction has started on Walmart though.

i really hope the QT on 153 finally entices something to build in the vacant lot next to Arby's. I never understood why there was so little that close to the interstate.

Across Highway 153 from McDonald's in the large open field behind CVS.

QuikTrip #1140 is on Rutherford Street, a block away from Buncombe Street.

My husband stopped at the new one on Whithorse Rd (Berea area) and will not stop talking about it. He absolutely loves it. I hope they keep it up. Spinx seems to be real slack lately. Watch out Spinx, you better keep straight. I go to Greenville Tech Northwest so will stop by QT when fall semester starts back up.

Good gosh, I just went to the QuickTrip website - had no idea that there are now 11 QT Upstate locations - does anyone know how many additional QT's are under construction?

I completely agree with the statement above - the competition between QT and Spinx/Pumpers/Palms is heating up - Pumpers now has all their fountain drinks for 69 cents.

Spinx bought four adjoining businesses, tore them all down and is currently building their new prototype super Spinx here in Greer on Wade Hampton and Buncombe directly caddy corner to QT. Should be interesting to see how it looks when it's done.
