I didn't even know there was a Quizno's in Simpsonville. I thought they all closed in the area (exception near Thornblade) within the last year or two due to the bankruptcy filing. Would be a good place for Jimmy John's to take over.
These items may be added to the menu at Overlook Grill — probably under different names.
Anyone have any idea when the overlook will roll out a new menu? My wife said she went there for lunch last week and the menu/the food was pretty much the same....

It is interesting that two somewhat similar chain restaurants (Quizno's and Schlotzky's) closed almost every Upstate location except the ones near Thornblade.

Any menu changes at Overlook Grill must first be approved by the City of Greenville. I will be shocked if Table 301 doesn't at least attempt to add a personal touch to their latest acquisition, despite the regulation.

Can you specify what foods or drinks require approval by the City of Greenville for menu item chagnes? It seems like a weird and unnecessary policy.
I hate to think the City of Greenville wants to play the food police. If it is, that is unnecessary business city government should be involved in. It is like the government regulating how good your burgers and sodas can be.
I have to admit that if it is true the city of Greenville has to approve the menu, then that is crazy. Since when can a city tell a restaurant what they can serve? Oh I forgot, NYC does that of the time. What is next for Greenville? Will southern comfort foods like shrimp and grits be a thing of the past? Quite frankly, I don't believe the city does this.
