Opens at 4pm today according to Fox Carolina. It connects from Carolina Point Parkway to Market Point Drive between the big old Celanese plant building and Avana apartments.

it appears that the rough part of 85-N approaching Woodruff Road has been milled down and is much smoother even though it has not been paved yet.

Definitely much smoother, however, now there's a crack that has widened into a channel that gets scrubbed out by traffic and gets wider every week. Certain tires widths will drop into the channel and scrape both sides.
