Just moved back to NC from Greenville. One of my few regrets is never trying Grits & Groceries. Had lots of recommendations to eat there, just never got around to it.

It is a breakfast you have to plan. There is really No Good Way to get there.
What we have done in the past is to borrow a van from a friend of ours and load up some folks early on Saturday morning and head to Grits and Groceries. The trip is as good as the breakfast.

If you don't mind traveling to Spartanburg, you HAVE TO TRY Mon Amie Morning Cafe.

Not interested in Waffle House and other junkie food. also looking for decent prices and variety on menu. Any suggestions? Breakfast or brunch?

Tried Bohemian with friends today. Definitely will return there! Everyone was happy with their meal although the brunch menu was small. Liked the Bloody Mary buffet! Will try the suggestion in Spartanburg next.

Resurrecting an old thread here, but I'm trying to get a list of places that serves breakfast in Greenville. Some of the restaurants mentioned in this thread have closed. The list I currently have of open (non fast food) places is:

Waffle House
IHOP
Eggs Up Grill
Another Broken Egg Cafe
Tommy's Ham House
Stax's Omega
Epicurean

I'm probably missing some of the one's downtown since I don't go there for breakfast. What are some of the other places you guys go?

I'm a big fan of Coach House in Simpsonville for breakfast. And Sunday Brunch at Soby's downtown is to DIE for!

I have heard that Blues Blvd and City Range both have Brunch with live music, but I haven't tried them yet.
