You won't be any safer at this Paris enclave place.

There are also several apartments along Butler Road in Mauldin.
Was not even thinking about that, just want a quiet area, and pay about $800.

If having (and paying for) amenities is lower on your priority list, you should consider condos, duplexes, and individual apartments as an alternative. In most cases, the neighbors are quieter, the rent is often lower, you are often in a neighborhood with more stability. There are many of these apartments and duplexes in the North Main and Augusta Rd areas. My first apartment out of college was in a very nice home on Earle Street in the historic district. Some of these apartments are rented through property management companies, but many are rented just by putting signs in the yard. Usually the landlords are willing to be more flexible in terms of holding an apartment if you have good references and will be a good tenant. Some will actually reduce your rent in exchange for keeping the yard maintained or other maintenance or repairs such as painting, etc.

I'm in Terrace at Butler, one of those apartments on Butler. Best decision I could have made. It's perfect.

We know a family that lives at The Rosemont at Patewood and they love it, not sure about price. It is close to post office, Haywood Mall, Pelham road. It's also very close to all major highways.

I stayed there 13 yeears ago when it was still Orchard Park. Best location in Greenville in my view. You can even walk to Stax and Outback and Tony's Pizza and TCBY and other places.

Those are pretty old apartments and nothing fancy but they have renovated them.
