We are in the HWY 14 & Woodruff Road area. Just cold and wet, but the temp is at 32 and I am concerned about ice later on. Alas, another long weekend... Winter is far from over so hang on to anything you bought to prepare this week!
North of DT around Furman/ Berea area towards TR different picture . Looks like they got much more snow /sleet overnight . Much more white wintry scene.
Northern Greenville County is a mess - Asheville reporting at least 7 inches of snow - I have a sleet storm now - roads just wet here near DT Greenville
I'm in Greer about 5 minutes north of I-85. We had a little snow and more freezing rain. I already have several pine boughs down in my yard and am hopeful that the trees themselves remain standing. Watching WYFF4's continuous storm coverage. Be safe, and stay warm, people!
Is WYFF doing their non-stop 24 hour hair-on-fire weather coverage? I've stopped watching that channel any time we have winter weather in the forecast because they become such a hype machine. Must be good for their ratings because their forecast is always over hyped.
