Can anyone recommed a good quality private builder that wont charge and arm and a leg?

I've had friends build in Carillon with Quinn and Satterfield, and they definitely are also in Verdae at a higher spec due to requirements for that neighborhood. We bought a lot in an established neighborhood and used their Carillon spec as a baseline for a custom build. From breaking ground to move in was six months and they were excellent to work with. I particularly liked that they are an established local company and that I worked directly with Joe Satterfield from start to finish. Also we weren't nickle-and-dimed over change orders, and feel we got very fair prices for upgrades.

Yes- ITA with this. Was going to recommend them as well.

Quinn-Satterfield is awesome; my husband and I had our home built by them close to downtown Greenville and are completely in love with the detail and process. I don't think they were unreasonable as well. Any changes we requested, they did.
