Bi-lo has that wing bar which I really like. The fried chicken is good, too. We usually shop Wal-mart but I go upscale now and then and hit Bi-Lo or Publix for a few things. Lately, I'm on a Publix kick but I will get over it when I see how much our grocery bill goes up.

I don't think you will notice a significant price difference anymore between the two, overall. You will notice much better service at Publix though.

We have been shopping at Aldi and been very happy with the quality and price of food.

I live between two Bi-Lo stores and am starting to drive further to go to Publix. The last handful of times I've gone to Bi-Lo, I haven't been able to purchase produce because it is either gone or rotten. If my grocery bill goes up because I have to shop at Publix, it's better than not being able to buy any fresh fruits and vegetables!

Bi-Lo is awful. A big cut below Ingles, much less Publix or Whole Food/TJs. No idea how they stay in business.

Yes and back to Publix or somewhere else for the items that Walmart is out of stock on. Don't waste my time with them.

They must have put that up after Service Merchandise left. When I worked in that shopping center there wasn't a BI-LO.

I have only shopped at BILO recently for seeded, globe grapes. Now they have not had them the last few times I tried. I never shop at Walmart but I was nearby so decided to stop in, and surprise- they had them, and they were very fresh. So no reason to go to BILO anymore, even though it is the closest store to me.

Yes. The old Service Merchandise at Verdae was razed for Bi-LO.

Bi Lo is no longer a consideration when shopping. I tried. Replaced by lidl and Lowes.
