Is Dellaventura's open for take-out during this situation? We're doing take-out every Friday to support local businesses.
It looks like it on their Facebook page. I would call to clarify since things can quickly change due to all this uncertainty.
Edit, this is what they just messaged me: We are still doing take-out, call-in preferred. Our current hours are 11am-8:15pm Tuesday-Thursday, and 11am-9:15pm Friday-Saturday.
Nonsense. Anyway, back to the subject of this thread. I’m looking forward to a fish taco and a bang- bang shrimp taco from White Duck Taco.
He's telling the truth. It's sad that we as a society have devolved to the point that if someone thinks differently than we do they're talking "nonsense" or they're a "hater" or even worse, a "racist". Sad times we live in.

By nonsense, I meant that social distancing was put into place to keep us from catching the virus from droplets in the air, not from touching surfaces.
Came across a few more articles about how restaurants will be when they reopen after the Chinese pandemic, that I mentioned earlier in the thread:
Masked Waiters - less personal attention, order and pay from app?
No more buffets - many are happy about this
Tables at least six feet apart - longer wait to get in
More expensive bills - able to serve less diners, means higher prices for all
Smaller menus - supply chain (pork?)
Fewer options - many establishments won't survive
Tougher reservations - take what you can get
I believe we are going to be shocked what will happen. While some of these points may not apply to every restaurant, or may not all apply to our area...but there is going to be a significant change. For some of us, dining is a fun, but expensive night out. I have a family of 5, so we only go out about once a month to a decent restaurant. I may have to cut that back even more if prices go up and we have. Many people will not even be able to afford to go out with a severe loss of income.
Chef Dan Barber, famous for his tasting menus at Blue Hill and Blue Hill Stone Barns, seems to agree. “We will not be returning to normal even when we’re allowed to,” Barber told Time. “The idea that people are going to be spending money in restaurants is preposterous. We’re headed for an enormous recession.”
I'm not sure if I buy that statement 100%. I think there will be an initial surge from people wanting to get out. But if our recession continues, many restaurants will go under.
I cant wait to go to Morton's Steakhouse and have medium rare steak, chopped salad and their famous ice cold martini.
I've been wanting a steak for so long!
