It will run from Furman through downtown Greenville to Lake Conestee when complete. 17 miles I think. The first part from Furman to Greenville Tech will be completed sometime in 2009. The whole project will be complete by 2012.

If you're buying, I'm all for requiring it.
"Requiring" is a bit too strong of a word. I prefer a little less government mandates these days...they are always the least efficient at whatever they do, sans the Military.
My wife and I passed through Greenville on our way to Charlotte this past Summer. I'm kicking myself now for not spending any time there now. I had heard downtown Greenville was nice,but I was really impressed when I saw it in person! These pics are just driving that impression home.
Gorgeous pix!This makes me so homesick!!! We had to leave beautiful Greenville after 30+ years due to a job change. We now live in Charlotte, which is nice, but I surely do miss Greenville.
