I can't believe that Cook Out is still building stores without indoor seating.A year or so ago we drove the ten miles or so off I26 to the Cookout in Orangeburg only to turn right around seeing there was no inside seating.
I remember the resurgence of drive-ins with the popularity of the movie American Grafitti, but come on folks, that was 45 years ago!
Sonic drive-inns are suffering and closing with the same outdated format.
As an aside, as an eight year old when Chick-fil-A opened at the new Macalister Square in 1969, I was blown away!
The Cook Out in Sumter is probably 4 or 5 years old now. It was built with indoor seating and have some outside as well.
Pizza Factory stopped allowing smoking about 2 years before it closed. I would think the new one will follow this rule.
It takes forever for the city of Mauldin to ever approve of anything, so I doubt it opens anytime soon. I drive by every day with my hopes up each time.
Bath and Body Works coming to Shops at Greenridge in the old Salsarita's space.
Looked like fencing was going up in front of the old Office Max location at Greenridge with a Rescom Construction sign. Their was still an available sign on the building. Not sure if it's for a new anchor or being divided into smaller spaces.

If you like a little burger and fries with your grease. I have never been into that. I even pat down my burgers with a paper towel when I grill them to remove as much grease as possible. Many people like FG though. Ate their one time and that was enough for me.

Greasy, tasty, expensive and cheese isn't fully melted as they slap it on right before they give you the burger. Lots of free toppings. it's good, not great. 7 outta 10.
