Had dinner in Charlotte. My new friend took me there last night. It was nice talking and having company! Got home at 10pm and went right to bed since I have to work tonight. Sure wish I was a better night person...sigh...just have to work at it I suppose. It is cold and frosty this morning--really pretty to look at but to cold--brrrr. Time to get my day going--critters are all fed and watered so now it's time for me to do some much needed things around the house! Have a blessed day!

cyn,

The gentleman you met at work? My old man "fatherly" reactions say "go slow" and learn from facts over emotions when making new friends. Yes, I have been accused of being too conservative (nicer than some descriptions I have heard), One good practice is to introduce new friends to old friends and see how they "mix. Always good to have some touch-stones: church, work, group activity.. just suggestions.

Please take remarks as open thinking about the world of people, I know nothing other than my generalized caution. Have fun, be safe.

That is how I am doing this Jerry! It's to soon for this to be anything more then a "friend" thing. He feels the same way. It's just nice to have places to go and company! I am not looking for anything other then someone to talk to. The last thing I need or want is to get involved with anyone right now. I'm still trying to figure out who I am. I love the "fatherly advice" you offered --makes me feel cared about!

Back from church and my neighbor who has ALS passed out! He was rushed to the hospital. Not sure what it is they are still running tests. I took down his medications and some items his wife wanted from home. Makes me so sad....like a bad dream...

Good news..my neighbor is back home and feeling much better. They said it was vertigo but I am still concerned as he has fallen 2 times this week but they are the doctors I guess. I had to take Whitey to the vet first thing this morning--not eating again. The doctor gave him a long acting antibiotic shot and a shot to help with the inflammation in his thyroid on his neck. I sure hope it helps. When he doesn't eat it makes me feel so sad knowing he has to be hungry. I'll know by tomorrow if the shots are working. Now I have to drive to my Chiropractors office. I think I'll tell him I will miss Wednesday since Thursday is Thanksgiving and I was asked by the grand kids to bring a few items so I'll be working on that on Wednesday...besides I need a day off from that drive and will be having a longer drive on Thursday. I am taking my girlfriend so that should be fun! Hope everyone is doing well today...Holidays are so difficult so we have to really work on staying positive!

Today I will be preparing a few dishes my son asked me to bring by request of the grand kids! Now that is about the only reason I would be in the kitchen! Ha! Had a very restless night. Maybe a nap will be in today's schedule! Hope you all have a blessed day!
