Good Morning Friends....Its "Sunday Go To Meeting" day and I am looking forward to it. I hope that you all have a good day.

Because of my limited diet.....I have some extra non perishable foods in my pantry that I can take in to meeting to donate to the food bank. We have a "bin" set out every Sunday for donations........it is shocking to think that there are so many people, right around us, who don't have "food security" which is knowing where the next meal is coming from. Many of these are children. I always try to bring in some high protein items like tuna or canned meats or....peanut butter ....and some convenience items that would help a busy and stressed Mom or Dad...get the kids fed .....canned soups, Raviolio's or Dinty Moore stew. When the store is running a "buy one get one free" special I often figure I can donate the "free one".

Be kind to everyone.

That's so nice of you elston. We have a local food bank but nothing connected directly to our church that I am aware of anyhow!
No church for me today....sigh...was at the vets last night with BuBu---same issues. The vet was kind enough to meet me at his office last night and give me more of the same medication plus an antibiotic for BuBu's tummy! Now I have to stay with him to make sure he does his business and I don't want to leave him alone when he's sick. I'm sure God understands! Hope everyone has a blessed day!

Keep up the great animal care, cyn! I'll bet you're a great worker, too. Keep it up! We love you so much! God loves you - God is the very essence of love.

Thank you all for your lovely thoughts!
Yesterday was very weird--missing church--that is rare for me. But I couldn't leave BuBu, even in his yard because I needed to make sure he was doing okay. Finally by early evening he started acting like his old self! Now I hope today will be the same!
My work is talking about cutting more hours because of the new Petsmart taking so many customers because it is the new place in town! Boss said it may only be temporary but I don't know if I can handle more hours cut. Maybe it won't effect me since he already took a day from me. We'll see.
It's very cold--25degrees right now. Oh well it is winter!
I have to take some Christmas decoration donations in today to the woman's center in town and then I guess I'll stop by the "Y" and try to get something going on my exercises for my arms.
Hope everyone has a lovely day!

Cyn......are they hiring at Petsmart? It might be worth looking into.....proactive.....or let your boss know that you really cant take anymore cuts in hours and if he plans to do that.....you will have to start looking around. I have a feeling he would try to accomodate you...........you are an exceptional employee.

That is so nice for you to say elston! I will mention that to him regarding looking around. I just feel so fortunate to have a patient boss and be able to work the hours I have now. But I also have bills to pay and critters to feed. Sometimes I feel like people work so much they have no time to enjoy life. I suppose it is a sign of the times.
