Sorry that I haven't kept this up... I've just been *EXTREMELY* busy with costume making. ((Currently recovering from 7 hot glue gun burns))

Well, my favorite time of year is here! Nekocon will be hitting the Hampton Roads Convention Center! From Friday to Sunday, come and check out the costumes, the panels, the workshops, a bazaar of artwork, a concert by Suicide Ali, a dealer's room fit for a king, and a lot more. ((If anyone else is coming, let me know!))

Dane Cook will be at the Scope on Saturday at 8pm. Tickets start at $35.

Sunday will be a treat to all the Star Wars fans, indeed! Stars Wars in Concert will start at 7pm at the Scope. Enjoy your favorite songs from all six movies performed by a full symphony orchestra - all the while watching footage displayed on an extreme high-definition LCD screen of three stories in height. There will also be exhibits to check out! Tickets start at $34

College basketball is starting the Christmas season slowdown, but there are some good local games this weekend:

Norfolk State Spartans women hosts William & Mary Tribe Friday 6 pm.

Old Dominion University women hosts Hampton University Sunday at 2 pm. The HU website says that general admission tickets are $5.

Christopher Newport U has a doubleheader Friday against Wesley College. The women tip off at 6 pm, and the men go at 8 pm.

The next day, Wesley's women go across town and play at the Apprentice School Builders, Saturday afternoon at 2 pm.

Vassar College men play at W&M Saturday afternoon 1 pm.
