Can anyone recommend good furniture stores in Norfolk? Looking for living room and bedroom...maybe some kitchen stuff. Prefer something mid-range price that isn't cheap like a dresser at wal-mart.

When I was looking for a dining room I eneded up going with Havertys in VB. There was nothing in Norfolk. We also bought some stuff from Esprit Decor in Chesapeake. I would avoid the Haynes/Room Stores.

The Dump has good stuff. It's owned by Haynes, and they have a lot of the same stuff. I hate going in there though. It's so cluttered.

Agreed. It's cluttered and organized while being disorganized... if that makes sense.
There's a stretch on Virginia Beach Blvd between Newtown and Witchduck where you can find a number of furniture stores.
