debt doesn't matter. the government will just print more paper as it's always been doing, and the world will snap it up.
That’s why there are outside forces doing all they can to get rid of the Fed and go back to the gold standard. Say what you want about President Trump, but he and others are making moves to make this happen. Printing more money just lessens the buying power of the dollar. So when a widget cost only one dollar, the widget will now cost 2 dollars.
State waives graduation requirements for Seniors - that is going to be a lot of school missed and hurt them when they enter college - they'll end up missing 2 months of school

Colleges across America will be inducting students that "graduated early" and will deal with it accordingly.
I don't recall learning anything in my last two months of high school that had any effect on my college experience.
I agree.
Most seniors at my school (in NYC) were only taking between 2-4 classes anyway as they didn't need a full deck to gain the credits needed to graduate. I was in at 7:40 (first period) and gone at 11.
I feel very confident in saying that foregoing the last two months of high school would not have done a thing to hamper preparedness for college. For those that it does, they were likely so far behind already that not canceling the two months likely wouldn't have done a thing anyway
It was in the 1970s, but I am at high schools all year long and know what Seniors are studying. By now they have completed everything that is required and are coasting up to graduation. This was my 38th year and that has not changed since I graduated.
My final semester in high school, I had P.E.; Office Messenger; Auto Shop; and typing. Done at noon, daily.
If you had missed the last two months of high school, would it have prevented you from being successful in college?
My opinion: Colleges won’t hold time missed due to Covid closures against the students. As long as they have earned the degree and meet the gpa requirements and earn appropriate SAT scores, they will do as well as they would have if the schools didn’t close early. And of course, for those who don’t go on to college it won’t matter at all.
"Hawaii public schools to remain closed until state goes 4 weeks without new COVID-19 cases"
What a completely unrealistic statement - this could be around several months even years
