We've never lived anywhere else but Florida. Florida is okay, but were tired of the crime here and looking over our shoulder all the time. We've travelled outside of Florida, to Alabama, Georgia, and Puerto Rico.

I work at a full time job. My girlfriend doesn't work. We share a room and she doesn't leave the room much. She spends most of her time day trading or online gaming in our room. I drive her to places since her DL is suspended.

We still like the warm weather, even though were tired of Florida crime. We thought about moving to Puerto Rico, but the crime is just as bad and people don't speak English. Someone told us that people use English as their basic language in Hawaii. So we are thinking about Hawaii now.

Another ill-informed dysfunctional couple wants to move to Hawaii. Yippee!. How do you expect to live? Are you aware that your living expenses will increase by 300%? Get rid of your dud GF, go to college or earn a trade, then try again. Best of luck

Do some research on living in HI. Cost of living is extremely high. Many people have 2-3 jobs just to pay the bills. Jobs are scarce, so don't even bother unless you have a job lined up. Read through some of the posts on the Hawaii Forum as a start.

Which is what the majority of your posts are. I can't help but feel you're just trying to troll the Hawaii board.

What kind of work do you do? Do you really think that you could find the same job in Hawaii that pays the same or more in Hawaii?

Do you know anything about the cost of living in Hawaii? Have you read through the many, many threads on this forum discussing the cost of living and the availability of jobs? Maybe you should look at the City-Data demographics for Hawaii as a start.

Why are you only considering Florida, Puerto Rico and Hawaii as places to live? Do you realize that many parts of Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, and California are also warm? People use English as their basic language in those places, too.

Are you joking when you say "someone told us that people use English as their basic language in Hawaii"? Do you know that Hawaii is the 50th state in the Union?

Do you see a pattern here? Do you still wonder why you are getting so many rude responses to your completely ridiculous post?

?
Well, we went to Puerto Rico and they weren't speaking English. And PR is part of the US.

So we didn't know if it was the same way in Hawaii and Guam.

Puerto Rico and Guam are Territories, not States. Hawaii has been a State since 1960.

Like I said, City-Data has lots of great demographic information. Read it.

College-educated people with several years of experience in a desirable (especially quantitative, but that applies pretty much anywhere) field/industry can do quite well in Honolulu. If you can work remote to your mainland job, that's even better.
