Good! The peas are planted and the rest of the garden will be planted soon now that the rains are back. It's been much too dry lately. Gracie & Georgie will be pleased as well but geese like to be wet.

I second that, I live in the heart of Kaimuki and it's very humid at noon time. Hopefully, this turns out to be a good steady rain totaling 2-4 inches and not a total deluge of 15-20 inches.

I'm sitting in San Diego, where it has rained about once in the last six months, and we're expecting a real rain this coming week, lasting for two or three days.

We need it. The reservoirs are pretty dusty.

I'm suppose to eat sushi with my dad tonight, but my wife wants me to head over to the SUPER Safeway on Kapahulu Ave. to stock up on batteries and other essentials. So as much as I love sushi, I will instead listen to mom and do as she asks. The radar isn't showing much, even over Kauai.

All day to day DRY-as-a-bone on Maui! We even went up to Kapalua this morning and found it sunny and humid. Breezes picked up this afternoon, but still no rain. I see on the weather sites that it's raining on Oahu and Kaua`i, but nothing like '06 on Maui.

We had a good soaking rain on Tuesday in West Maui -- nothing in South Maui according to our friends there. Maybe tomorrow?

Latest radar shows the rain has moved much closer to Oahu. It might very well be a nice night to sip a little bit of cognac.
