I have not read all the posts here, but you do need to get a another opinion - several, in fact.

If you happen to consume seafood 5 - 7 times a week, you may be suffering from mercury poisoning. This is a problem that is coming more and more to the publics awareness of late. Either way, have yourself checked for this.

And, please - no more talk about suicide, your life is too precious.

I know it is a long-shot but you really remind me of a friend your age who had many of your symptoms, maybe worth a look at 34 Menopause Symptoms - all about each menopausal symptom.

You may only have some of these but more severely....

I hope that you get some resolution to your illness. And please don't think that killing yourself is the answer..

I think that, although the cause and diagnosis are still more or less in the air, we should try to be specific about how to rid the body of heavy metals (like mercury and arsenic).

I thought of something today.

Long term exposure to a fire retardant called Polybrominated Diphynal Ethers will give you the symptoms that you described.

This chemical has for years been added to plastics to make them less flammable.

This chemical does not bond well with polymers and epoxies thus is always off gassing.

A common source is carpet and rug padding but any plastic can be suspect.

If you work around these substances this may be the problem.

P.S. all circuit boards are coated with this chemical compound so if you work on a computer or in a room of computers you are definitely being exposed to this.

Unfortunately we dont have internists in Australia
I saw a different neurologist previously and he thought it was partial temporal lobe seizures
I had an eeg and it said slow waves over the temporal lobes but there were no spikes and also the pet scan said hypometabolism of the temporal lobes.
So it really seems that its from the temporal lobes-just not sure whether its seizures or something else that is affecting that area of the brain.
i had nerve conduction studies that said sensory neuropathy but like you said goldenmom7500 that doesnt narrow it down much because so many things can cause neuropathy.

Thankyou nsa162:Im not diabetic if thats tested through the glucose levels-is that correct?
My glucose levels have always been in the ranges.

HighlandsGal:its not anxiety/panic disorder.many anxiety/depression medicines + therapy did not help this and i dont have palpitations, hyperventilation,,panicky thoughts or any of the symptoms associated with anxiety.
Thankyou very much
God Bless You
I do know that you arent suffering from anxiety/panic disorder. I have had it for over 20 years, none of the symptoms you have fit with that disorder. I wish you luck mkor, and please no more talk about suicide, that isnt the answer. You are a precious life that deserves to live. Whatever it is you are going through, you will get through it. I would go to an endocrinologist, a get as an extensive blood work up as possible. Weird things happen in our bodies all the time, and sometimes the cure could be a simple adjustment. Take care of yourself.

Hi,
Unfortunately I do not have answer for you but wanted to let you know that I am experirencing exactly the same symptoms - pulsations, headache, burning, shooting pains, plus something that feels like crams in all my intestines. Have sores in the nose, bleeding nose and coughed blood from lungs occasionally over the past 3 years. On top of everything i am 36 weeks pregnant (miserable beyond belief). Thought of ending my life on a regular basis, but can not do that - have a gorgeous daughter who is 3 and a baby on the way - got to stay strong because of them! Wouldn't want them to grow up without a mom.
I have tried zoloft (no effect), cymbalta (some pain relief), and am taking 1 mg lorazepam (same as valium), which seems to help temporarily getting through the though times and relieves the headache. Had MRI, MRA, CT scan, all normal, blood work shows some elevated ANA, and iron deficiency anemia, but not much else. I live in NY and have been to a 3 rheumies (2 think i do not have an autoimmune disorder, 1 thinks I do have smtg undifferentiated), 3 neurologists (1 thinks I do not have migraines, 1 thinks I do and the 3 thinks I have modifyied migraines), 2 pscychs - 1 thinks it is anxiety, the other think it is a severe depression. My family doc thinks it will all go away with the pregnancy - fat chance cuz i had these before just not that frequent. Now I have them daily and as you say when one attack stops another starts...I too am at the end of my rope and not sure what to do next...I think i will want to be tested for heavy metal poisoning, do a PET scan, get arochoscopy and go see an oncologyst and an infectious disease specialist. Will let you know how it goes...in the mean time if you want to write me directly please do so at diankova (at) hotmail.com.

Hope you feel better. Please let me know if you find the miracle cure! I really hope you do!

tingling/pins and needles in my feet, sometime short jabs of pain in feet, tingling in my
hands, sometimes now pain travelling down my arms, small leg/foot muscle
twitches/trembling,sometimes finger twitches,occasional "travelling" pain,severe
headache-forehead area-non tension or pulsatile,waves of chills/shivers,hot face
sometimes,confusion,disorientation,blurriness,memo ry loss,ringing in my

noises, numbness in feet, now sometimes sweating in palms and feet and sometimes all over
too, ringling in ears, pulsating in my stomach, feet, genitals, throat, temple and head and
now also pulsating in my fingertips and lowerback,,at the same time i get spontaneous
crying,or hysterical anger or rages, yelling at my dad for example, taking things the
wrong way-all without control. These episodes range in time from 2minutes to 2 hours
approximately and are continual-as soon as one stops another begins-all day and
night.

Im living in hell.
I think its somehow blood?flow? related because i always get the pulsating in the above
mentioned areas but at the same time i also get the irrational rages and/or crying
etc.Could it be too much/not enough blood flow to an emotional area of the brain?
I have tried many medications including s
imenet,proprananol,zyprexa,zoloft,prozac,lexapro,d iamox,seroquel,risperidone,ritalin,de
pakote,lamictal,tegretol,keppra,sandomigran,sumatr iptan,clonidine,guanfacine,valium,mur
elax,aspirin,vitamins,herbs,eliminated
wheat,psychologist,acupuncture,chiropractor-this is the short list-there are more but i
cant remember because of my memory loss-and nothing has helped at all.

PET scan showed
hypometabolism of both temporal lobes, particularily in the middle temporal gyrus and
more pronounced on the left.(these symptoms were happening during the PET scan)

Does anyone have anything like this?-particularly the pulsating sensations or does anyone know what i can take to make this stop.
PLEASE REPLY VERY URGENTLY
THANKYOU

Hello mkor,
I need you to know that first of all you are loved. I do understand your pain. I am sitting in it as we speak. I have been in pain for 13 years and it just gets worse cause no body either takes the time, or just don't know what it is. THey are looking for fibromyalgia or MS in me right now. I have various medical problems myself. I am a cancer survivor for one. I lost my uterus to that. I have, what my gyno calls pop off cysts on both ovaries, very, very painful. Pop off meaning they grow on and pop off all by themselves. I had 45 minutes to get into surgery or I was going into renal failure.I had a completely blocked kidney tube and that was pain like no other as well. They stinted my kidney tube for 10 days and removed it from my already ailing bladder and put it onto another spot of my bladder. I feel it everyday all up and down my back. There is a muscle that runs directly at the bottom of your bladder, that is called the Smooth Muscle, it is about as wide as your hand, well mine has pretty much quit. The only thing that is keeping me from having to wear a pee bag is about 5 different pills that I just keep switching back and forth to. When one starts getting to where it is not helping than the doctor just puts me back on one of the others and it just keeps goin like that. I see a specialist of 35 years in this field. He and another doctor friend of his even wrote a book on this but still does not know what to do for it. He said I have the worst case he has ever seen. Gee thanks doc.
I had just recently been told that I have a case worse than osteoperosis and that my bones were crumbling at the base of my spine. I lost it. So they started doing more bone scans. They found arthritis in my feet the last time. My back stays in excruciating pain daily.
I have trigger finger (tendonitis that locks your fingers in a bent position) in my right hand that can run pain up my arm, into my shoulder and then my neck. I also have tendonitis in my left hand as well just not as bad.
I had polips removed from my colon last year. I have excruciating pain around my gulbladder due to polips as well. That is one of my pains that I just almost cannot take anymore. During this pain, I do feel like it is killing me slowly but surely. It hurts bad.
Taking all these pills mess up my vision, my sleep ( I have very different sleeping times and patterns than a normal sleep).

Just recently mkor, a patient who had been in a coma came out of it and speaks and is doing miracles due to the drug "Ambient". It is a sleeping pill. I am not sure if you have to have a prescription but if I was you,( since you are not medicating right now) , I would try it just ease the spasms and maybe some of the pain. Have you been in an accident that involved your spine, neck or head or back?
Look in your food and maybe your drinks lists and see if you are ingesting ASPERTAME. That is one wicked drug. It is usually found in diet foods. It attacks the central nervous system and can do many bad things to the human body. I can't believe they get away with being able to sale it.
Another suggestion. Go to the Dentist and look for infected roots or gums, but pay attention to the earlier posters who are educated in that mercury thing. Sometimes a bad tooth can cause havoc in the body, it can also cause congestive heart failure or lead to heart disease.
Your sinuses. How are they? This is another thing that can rule what is going on in your body. THe sinuses like the teeth are close to the brain, but still runs fluids through your blood to other parts of your body.

I am not a rocket scientist by no means. I am just glad that you found your way to this forum. Stay here. We just have to hang tight. I will have no suicides on my watch if I can help it. We will get through this. We have learned to live with some major pain, please don't give up now. YOu can be my inspiration and I will be yours. Ok? I was 30 when all mine started. It did start with migranes as well.

Have the doctors check for air in your colon and fluid on your spine and have them check your neck stem for infection.

By the way, they are going to do an epidural steroid test on me at the end of the month. I'll let you know how it goes.

LIVE LAUGH AND LOVE
