Good Lord.
You'll probably faint if someone passes gas in an elevator.

No one is going to take his concerns seriously because they aren’t deserving of even semi serious concern

Unless you live on a remote island or middle of a forest (that isn’t currently burning) you (as in everyone) are breathing in exhaust fumes every day of your life whether you “see them” or not

Blue smoke is oil. The engine is badly damaged and the catalytic converter - if it is still there - gave up long ago.
Black smoke is fuel. Sometimes an old engine can be tuned up to get this fixed, but most people don't bother.

Either way, I don't think the OP was harmed. Probably a life time of his own farts has done more damage than that old Beemer.

I don’t know Do most people wear gas masks when they drive?

How on earth do you think anyone could avoid being exposed to exhaust fumes when driving?

Do you ever notice that pipe sticking out of the back of every car in front of you, behind you, beside you?

It’s called an exhaust pipe for a reason

Are you under the impression that you are in a hermetically sealed spaceship when you drive? Because you aren’t ......

The air coming in your vents, windows, sunroof etc is as much exhaust as it is air

How has this gone on for 4 pages??

I keep my windows closed and the A/C on recirculate mode all the time so I can avoid it but the outside smells keep entering in the cabin

Again....your car isn't "hermetically sealed"

Doesn't matter if you keep A/C on recirculate, of course outside smells are entering the cabin...so is outside exhaust....every single day whether you "smell it" or not

With all due respect, I don't think the exhaust is the most pressing of your physical/mental health concerns. Assuming this is a serious question, of course.
