It's 100 degrees out and he's cold (thyroid, skin, blood pressure, health issues)

My husband is always cold, it is very hot here this week and as much as we are in the house, he is in a winter bathrobe and keeps moving the a/c to 80. I had his doc do a thyroid blood test and he is fine. He even stopped the baby aspirin to see if it mattered. When we go to a public place with their a/c on, he wants to put an overcoat on. What could be wrong?? He still has a light blanket on the bed and up till yesterday had two on there. My god, what is wrong with him.
Is this new? If so, then I'd be concerned. If he's always been this way, it may just be the way he is.
When I'm the only one home, no matter the temperature, I don't run the A/C. My husband and kids turn it on, I turn it off. I freeze when they're sweating - and that was even while I went through menopause!
Even when I get in the car in this heat and humidity, I let the heat in the car warm me a little before I open the windows. I'd rather sweat than shiver.
The heat doesn't bother me, I get cold when the a/c is at 75, even my skin feels cold. No health issues. I have a corner office at work that I just love...2 walls of windows with sunshine coming thru. But winter...I have the heat up. I would also prefer to be warm than freeze.
QUESTION? Is he a SENIOR?. Don't like to say this, as my dad who was in his 80's was cold all the time as a sign his body was starting to shut down before his passing. Stefhen
Sounds like circulatory problems to me, is he diabetic, a LONG time smoker or Elderly? Unless this is a temporary thing, does he have a fever?
I would take him to see the doctor and tell the doctor about it because thats NOT normal. If he has a problem with circulation then they need to sort out why. Smoking can cause it just like diabetes can.
I had his md do the thyroid bloodwork and he said it's totally normal as is the rest of his tests, choloestoral, sugar, everythings great, but yes he smokes like crazy, is 64 and in fact is seeing his heart doctor (no heart problem, had a valve replaced years ago) this sweek and is asking about circulation. His left leg gives out on him and goes dead. I think it's his back causing it and he thinkgs dirculation. Hope he's right, it's easier to treat I think. Thanks for all the replies, they really help me all the time.
He maybe should see a endocrinologist, or someone in Internal Medicine. Allot of times regular MD do not understand the thyroid tests and allot of times do not do all that needed to be done.
I know how he feels. Completely. I'm always cold. My husband gives me the weirdest looks because I cannot sleep without socks and a blanket - no matter the temperature.
My problem is that I have low blood pressure. It's normally at 90/60
