Go to the doctor...that is too long to ignore a sinus condition; you probably need antibiotics.

Hi,

I had that irritating pulsating and throbbing ear issue . I had an infected tooth .which gave me the pulpitis , as they call it .
After treating the tooth at the dentist´s , it completely disappeared . Some medicine for the infection had to be taken also .

Go to a dentist , because it is worth a shot doing it . Maybe that is is the issue im many cases ,

I have had 'whoosh, whooshing' sounds in my middle ear for about 5-6 years, mainly at night. I saw my doctor, and an ear, nose and throat specialist, as well as having a head x-ray. All fine apparently. But my doctor prescribed a cortisone nasal spray which relieved my symptoms and also stopped the snoring that I have had since my childhood (an issue that concerned my husband as it also caused mild sleep apnea as a result). I didn't continue with the cortisone spray long term, so now I'm feeling it again. But it is basically allergic rhinitis and antihistamines help.
