Communism was a good idea it didn't work because humans are stupid, but then Capitalism doesn't work either.

The pure idealistic Capitalism as envisioned by libertarians doesn't work. And for the same reason.
Except it is not stupidity.
Both the communism and the "pure" libertarian view of capitalism are based on having some idealized breed of people that simply don't exist in the real life. They don't account for people being dishonest, trying to rig the system, not making rational decisions, being shortsighted and greedy, etc.
The best working systems have a right mix of Capitalism and Socialism (I don't think Communism is compatible with free society). What that mix should be differs from country to country. It also requires high degree of general education (not specialized professional / skill education), knowledge of history, highly developed civic thinking, and some understanding of basic laws of society. Unfortunately our schools fail in every category.
The Nazis had a wonderful economic system but I will never forgive them for their treatment of Jews.

Relating to a discussion earlier in this thread, slavery is still alive and well - but Jews aren't in the mix.

Thank you for posting this, as many do not realize the extent to which slavery still exists in the world: it is alive and well, only now, because it is illegal, there is less visibility. I think that there are more slaves today than at any point in human history:
To the OP: as many other posters have pointed out, throughout history, many peoples other than black Africans have been enslaved, including Jews. Slavery does not recognize sex, nationality, race, etc. Re: people who are enslaved, it has more to do with vulnerability than anything else.

African Americans are obssesed with slavery not because they think it is wrong. If they did they would do something about all the human traficking going on in this world. The won't let it go because it feeds their victims complex. It is so much easier to blame your problems on someone else than to accept responsibility.
