African Americans are obssesed with slavery not because they think it is wrong. If they did they would do something about all the human traficking going on in this world. The won't let it go because it feeds their victims complex. It is so much easier to blame your problems on someone else than to accept responsibility.
I partly agree with you, but there are plenty of African Americans that still live in extreme poverty even though drug use/organized crime is NOT in their life. Why these people have stayed poor through the generations, I don't know.

What is odd is that they seem to dislike their position in society but they don't do anything about it. Indians have the highest average income in the US, maybe it is because they value education and choose to go into medicine? African Americans should either shut up accept their place or do something about their problems, first things first they should try not to get into prison.
The first slaves in America were native Americans in the "encomiendas", later, in the US, English prisoners, street kids, prisoners by debts, all white. Black Slaves came much later, as part of the industrial production of sugar and cotton.

None, but Lebanon and Syria are each about 30% Orthodox Christian last I checked, and there also are Palestinian Christians (also Arab Christians in Israel) and while a minority, I figure Christians in these countries are allowed to live in peace, while sadly Jews are not allowed any human rights whatsoever. Very sadly, a lot of Christians in these countries are killed when Arabs fight with Israel, even though the Christians really do not take sides... the conflict between Israel and Palestine is really an ideological conflict between Judaism and Islam. The Israeli-Palestinian conflict is a lot like the Cold War, but with a lot more bloodshed. I'm truly saddened that over 65 years after Israel declared statehood, Muslims are still indoctrinating their children to kill innocent people and to hate democracy and freedom of speech. But I don't necessarily agree with the Zionist movement either.
Instead of returning to what we now call Israel, it would have made more sense if Jews had immigrated to an already existing democracy. I can name over a dozen countries where they would have moved to and fit in just fine.
