At the risk of perhaps alarming your neighbors, How about burnt orange? (I also like the brick and tree as is).

Do not paint the brick. It always looks like cheap kitchen subway tiles when painted.

Shades of green or blue always look nice against natural brick.

Do not get rid of the tree.

It looks pretty good already. Depending on what mood you want to create, you could go for a light gray scheme, or take the existing tan more into a light yellow realm for added vibrancy/pop/character. To really change things up, you could venture into greens.

It’s a cute house. A few things I would do are, get rid of the plants that are hiding the front of the house, paint the garage doors the same as the body of the house so they will disappear, and make the front door the star.

To open the house front up, I would get rid of the bushes in front of the house. I would shape the tree but leave it for the reasons above.

If it’s a magnolia tree, I give you my blessings to get rid of it, since they make a constant mess. There’s nothing wrong with having a tree there, but plant one that is smaller.

I personally hate tan/beige/brown houses, so if I were you I’d probably go with a dark color, like charcoal with a big pop of color on the door.

Were the 19, very lengthy suggestions, some from pros, not to your liking on Houzz?

thanks, everyone, all fantastic suggestions.
I think I am going to keep the tree for now or maybe trim it a little.
also paint the entire house with a light color (off white maybe)
I am also thinking about removing that black metal fence and replace it white picket fence.
overall great discussion and thanks for all of your inputs.

They make a brick stain (I can't remember where I saw it; but, it looks like a much better option than paint as it is once and done).

White houses with black shutters is completely classic. I might go slightly off-white with black trim. At least you won't get tired of it and will only need to change if you just want to or it is time to repaint.
