Brick is just about no maintenance. Once you paint it, you will have to constantly repaint it and you can't just slap more paint on it. The entire thing has to be wire brushed before you can put another coat of paint on it. You would turn no work into a lot of ongoing and never ending work.
At least your brick is a nice color.
You've got a very nice mid century modern house. Learn to appreciate it and don't try to change it into something it is not.

I mentioned this before; but, there is a brick "stain" which seems to me would be more permanent, more natural looking and more once and done.
