Are you talking about just for those specific lines (Park & Rides) or all Park & Ride routes?

I'm talking about the major p&r lines(290, North Freeway, Eastex Freeway, Katy Freeway, Southwest Freeway, Gulf Freeway).

Okay.

I don't think the Katy is likely to see commuter rail anytime soon, and the SW corridor would be a bit off from the SW Freeway, so you'd probably lose some ridership if you were to kill the SW corridor P&R routes. I can see this strategy working, however, for the 290 corridor.

Where is the map for the rail lines to be completed by 2020?

By 2025. The lines in black dashes are commuter lines. The line colors are off though.

VERY IMPRESIVE GUERILLA!!!! Is that a commuter rail line I see going to Galveston? That is good......traffic on the Gulf Freeway on a Summer weekend is a NIGHTMARE. Once it took me 4 hours to get from DT Houston to Stewart Beach.
Maybe one day Houston and Dallas can put our differences to rest and build a joint venture High Speed Rail........It would defintely benefit both cities equally & TREMENDOUSLY!!!!

I have always wanted a high speed rail line between Houston-Dallas-Austin-SA.

The map looks pretty good. But I'm not buying into any of these plans for even a single second. I'd be surprised to ever see this in my lifetime.

I don't think you should replace the Park and Rides. I think you have the rail in ADDITION to the park and rides. Houston is only going to grow, and by the time the 2020 plan comes to fruition, there will be even GREATER need.

Wow, then you will be disappointed. I really don't know why you wouldn't, but oh well.
