Now, that's funny.

Well fair enough, and I apologize if I misunderstood your previous post, but I just don't see the point in over sheltering children from society or humanity, unless said thing's intention is truly meant to be obscene, i.e., a homeless man getting down to business.

I really wish the news didn't cover this story. It makes our city look backwards. Clearly it's only a few people that have an issue with this but of course they will blow it out of proportion and blur the statue to make it seem even more scandalous. Very disappointed in KPRC.

The worst part was the parent saying they didn't want their kid asking questions. Really?! People like that shouldn't even have children if they are so afraid to answer their questions on the world around them.

If it was a statue of me, they would be TWICE as offended

This!

As a parent it blows my mind that other parents wouldn't want to teach their children about everything in the world. Would they rather their kid just stumble upon nudity online or something one day? Parents were invented to answer questions! Especially the tough ones.

I am reminded of the Justice Department spending $8K on a drape for Lady Justice's bare breast, about 15 years ago.

I'm offended by those statues. If it had been statues of naked women, then I would not be offended.
