Trains from Los Angeles Airport are exclusively metro light rail services, which can be boarded at the airport's own Metro Light Rail train station. A free shuttle service runs at regular intervals from the terminals to the train station, where the Green Line service takes passengers into the city center. The free shuttle services collect passengers every 12 to 15 minutes throughout the day and night every day of the week.

Until you define a WCC, then this is all just jabber and trolling/bashing/boasting, etc. And once defined, it either is or isn't a WCC, but it doesn't really make a difference at the end of the day whether it meets some definition or not.

Simply Without renting a car or getting a taxi? So Houston along with just about every atleast medium sized city is world class to you because there’s always a metro bus route that goes from the airport to downtown. For Houston, that would be route 102. My guess is you specifically meant rail?

Yeah but that was just recently built. L.a was still world class before the train even came to the airport when there was no train. I used to would have to take the FLYAWAY bus from the airport to union Station and then take the metrolink home.

Yeah, but since there’s no solid definition of what is world class, Dopo has the right to not think LA is world class while Oslo and Düsseldorf are. It’s a very unpopular opinion, but is this is the standard alone, LA wasn’t world class by Dopo’s standards. Obviously my standards are lower than some on here as I would call Houston, Atlanta, Dallas, and Seattle world class. None of these are perfect and they all lack something while exceeding in other areas but to disagree is respected.

There isn't an agreed upon definition, at least from my brief internet search.
sure, it’s a weird definition but this isn’t something that can be scientifically proven so he has the right to feel that way.

New York also doesn't have good rail access to all of its airports. Only Newark meets the criteria.
I don't think even LaGuardia has rail access today although I think one is being built. JFK is theoretically accessible by subway by it's too far and takes too long to be useful. I don't think this is a good litmus test for what world class is as there were cities that are 'world class' before the airport rail system was built.

People that whine about no public transit have never been to southern China during the summer and drowned in the humidity and hot sun.
