Interesting that the biased Houston Chronicle would not have this story on their main web site... but not surprising I guess.

I'll still take Hidalgo over any of the other candidates. Every politician does something stupid at some point.

This won't even touch her. She is unbeatable in November. She got over 75% in the primary.

It's obvious that this is politically motivated by Abbott, Patrick, Paxton, et al., despite the TV news trying to spin the story in the Republicans' favor.

So what happened to Paxton's criminal case now that it's out of the Harris Co. Courthouse and back home in Collin Co.?

He will be hailed a a Conservative hero, making money the old fashioned way, by grifting and screwing unsophisticated investors who deserve it. That's sarcasm, by the way.

Wait till President Biden transfers a Northern Illinois (Chicago) district federal prosecutor to Texas! GOP state government corruption would dwarf the shenanigans of small-time Chicago corrupt politicians.

It's a primary...so (theoretically) only people from her party voted in that election. Using your logic Greg Abbott would be a shoe-in since he received over 66% of the primary vote. I agree that she'll win re-election, but not because of the primary results.

Good point. Harris County leans blue, but nothing is certain these days.
