All schools north of I 10 in Katy ISD are ghetto, with the exception of Katy High School and Katy Elementary. Truth.

More unjustified hating on entry-level subdivisions such as in North Katy and South Cypress. This needs to stop.

More like bad planning in the county but there's nothing you can do so that's why it's all over the place in terms of price points and amenities

There is nothing wrong with having a variety of housing price points in an area. No one is owed "assurance" from government that all housing in your school zone or whatever will exceed some minimum price, or that it will all be owner-occupied. It doesn't make a place better to have only upper end housing and purposely exclude entry-level.

The amenities point, though, is valid, though I think more recent entry-level subdivisions do better on this front than the 1980s-90s subdivisions. This is where planning could have made a difference.
