I have very good friends who live there and it is really nice. I will say though that many of the big tall trees in their back yard were actually dead or close to dead, and they tried to save them but they lost several of them during Hurricane Ike.

Oh, thank you so much for replying! Have they ever complained about the water treatment plant on the other side of Bay Area Blvd? I'm wondering if the "fragrance" ever drifts that way, since it's a bit SE of the plant...

Nope, they've never complained about it, though of course I noticed it right away driving by, especially because I design such plants. Have you ever smelled it? Not all wastewater plants have an odor you know. Many have zero detectable odor.

Ah! We're relocating from Dallas, and when I was looking at a property with Google maps (love the satellite view), I saw the plant.
