I met my current husband at The Ocean Club during an event called Heaven and Hell Night. That was Jan 1986... We've been together for 28 years and married for 22. Who says meet ups in bars don't last.

We've been riding the wave happily into the sunset ever since.

I also remember Boccaccio where all the high rollers hung out. Met many famous people there.

How bout the Honeycomb. Open 24 hrs disco from late 70s to urban cowboy approx, mid 80s. Had a bull and all that crap. Was on Richmond. I used to be one of the bar managers. Had to quit that stuff too much fun and not for a married man. hew...

Savages

We LOVED that place. Great in the 90s. Isn't it now a bank or something??

Default Yeah

I remember going to a place called city streets the first night out I ever had in Houston. Being from Milwaukee we had nothing even coming close to a place like that. Really enjoyed it from what I remember. Then a few years later (I forgot when) I flew in and ask my buds to go to City Streets and found out it was gone. When did that happen? Now I am a bit older... I am content to just go sit at Carlos' beer garden out in Webster and just drink Shiner all night long..
