They were pressure washing it the other day (but it didn't look like it was working). Going to have to be repainted...hope they do it.

After that I'd say they'll probably re-light the exterior, with spot light type lighting. The whole building then should really stand out bright white at night (that's if they paint it).

I was downtown earlier today and I snapped these to photos. One shows the exterior paint improvements to the Big Sandy Superstore Arena so far and the other shows the current updates to the drop-off area of the DoubleTree.

I think both look good and help improve the vibe and appearance of downtown. There's still a lot of work to do to improve the city but hopefully these are just two more pieces of the puzzle.

Ask, and ye shall receive. Quicksilver arcade bar looks about ready to open soon from what i could tell from the ground level in front of Pullman Square. It went into the old space of Max and Erma's.

When the new Marshall Baseball Stadium is opened, I think it would be a great idea for the city and university to have space for food trucks. The ballpark in Durham NC does this and the fans have responded well to the concept.

Only if one of the food trucks has Bacon Wrapped deep fried hotdogs, I saw that once but my GF would not let me eat pork in front of her, then the truck was never back again
