I haven’t heard anything. It seems like our local media doesn’t cover much of this kind of stuff until it’s well under way. It’s like they are afraid if they cover it, they’ll scare it away.
Nice article about a couple from Chicago buying a historic but run down home in Guyandotte to fix up. Those old homes in Guyandotte could use more of this!
After seeing the state of the ACF buildings and thought that the welding building looked in rough shape.
I was hoping that it could be renovated and preserved. The architecture of that building is really neat and unlike most things built today. It looks like there’s still a chance it could be renovated but it’s not likely to happen.
A portion of 3rd Ave is about to be rezoned for development and it looks like some sort of study is being done for the riverfront and Adam’s landing. It would be nice if these articles would give a little more detail.
