The 2022 class of inductees has been announced by the Marshall University Athletics Hall Of Fame Committee.
Inductees this year are:
Stefanie Cook-Lewis, Softball/Women's Soccer (1995-98) Sarah Crandall-Fletcher, Women's Cross Country/Track and Field (1990-94) Vinny Curry, Football (2008-11) Carrie Hinkle, Softball (1994-97) Jody Lambert, Women's Basketball/Volleyball (1970-73) Jack Lengyel, Football Head Coach (1971-74) Kim Nutter, Men's Cross Country/Track and Field (1978-82) Dave Tabor, Men's Cross Country/Track and Field (1983-86) Travis Young, Men's Basketball (1997-2001)
They will be inducted on Friday, Sept. 2 and then recognized at the football game the next day. Details about the induction ceremony are in the linked article.
That was a great game to watch for sure! The most amazing thing to me was how much of the game that Marshall dominated. They were only behind for a very short period. I hope that they keep this up all year long. Appy State beat #6 Texas A&M today so that's going to be another tough game as well.
I’m a lifelong WVU fan but have always had a lot of respect for Marshall (I wish we played each other more often)!
