That is not surprising. The place has been slammed since they opened the doors.

Wow ... I haven't been yet but planned on going when the "new" wears off ... and apparently it hasn't happened yet.

As I recall, those numbers are similar to the Birmingham location. I suppose both have pretty much hit the saturation point.

Well, that explains why they sound similar.

Things are getting more definitive on High Point Climbing at MidCity. Here's a more detailed write-up including a fly-through of the facility:

High Point Does It Again In Alabama | Climbing Business Journal

Construction should start in June with opening planned for spring 2019. They're spending $8 million and will have an outdoor climbing tower in addition to the indoor facility.

That's a pretty impressive facility. Mid City in general is going to be very nice, and with it, Bridge Street, and Town Madison there will be no lack of things to do on Huntsville's west side.

Right, consistent Concerts at MidCity and seasonal games at Town Madison. Exciting times are ahead!

Land is currently being cleared at the southwest corner of South Parkway and Hobbs Road (Shell station and a Wendy's are outparcels). Its a large, 15.50+- acre tract that was deeded from Commerce 2000 LTD to Schreiner Development LLC for $1,028,888, or approximately $66,000 per acre, which seems low.

This tract is zoned C-4, so a commercial use is coming. Anyone else have any info on this tract?
