Hi! I know a lot of you must have pets and I was wondering if you had a recommendation for a veterinarian near the Hampton Cove or Owens Cross Roads area. We live off Old Big Cove road and need a vet for our cat and brand new puppy. I'm just looking for a personal recommendation rather than picking a place at random. I would definitely like to find something very close by though, because my cat is an absolute basket case in the car, and the puppy is a Maltese who will need regular grooming.

Thanks so much!

We use Complete Care Animal Hospital. They are located behind the Publix in those weird situated buildings. They seem nice and caring. Haven't really had any emergencies or crisis yet with our cat. The vet is Dr. Karen Lamb.

Thank you! The person who answered the phone there was very nice and we have an appointment first thing tomorrow morning to get my "baby" checked out.

For grooming, it is a bit far, but I highly recommend Blue Sky Pet Spa in Madison.

They are a bit further away, but they are excellent. The owner grooms show poodles and I have never met a groomer that Daphne was so comfortable with. She wags her tail when she is in the parking lot. My daughter loves the way she turns out and the different styles that are available(it is my daughter's poodle).

They don't have cages and I haven't seen an unhappy pet yet.
