Wilma destroyed my inlaw's apartment in Boynton Beach. Reevaluate your definition of inconvenience.

Hopefully Hermine's stirred up the waters of the nearby Atlantic enough that the water will be too cold to be conducive to the next storm. Hopefully no Sandys this year.

Just thought of something. Hermine was in the Gulf and didnt cause destruction or become a powerful
Hurricane... guess the climate wasnt changing and the world wasnt warming.

Can u imagine the headlines if it did?

Hermine's claim to fame was the few trees blown over in the drive lanes of I-75... GA and FL. And on 471 through the green swamp. By the time I came through they were bobbed off inside the emergency lane.

Water temps in image below. Colder waters along NE US coast but a ways offshore 27+ degrees Celsius (80F) is enough to support Tropical system development and growth should one venture up there. Lots of 30c hurricane super fertilizer out there should a storm have the opportunity to tap into that.
